Counselor - John Cheese
Name: Augustine
Timezone: AKST
Personal Journal:
Players Contact/AIM/MSN/YAHOO: AIM: augustinehiver; MSN: dorseyhorsey@hotmail.com
Email Address: dorseyhorsey@hotmail.com
Character Information
Name:John Cheese
Canon Origin/Series: John Dies At the End
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Personality: John is the kind of person who would have their last name legally changed to Cheese, fight back the forces of Hell with the power of rock 'n roll, sneak into a building wearing a purple cape, and still convince your girlfriend to have sex with him. But on the other end of the spectrum, he will come to a friend's aide at any hour of the day or night, and risk his life for a group of people he hardly knows. Although, that might be because he's not smart enough to recognize the danger.
Most of the things John does are for kicks. He gets bored of jobs easily, since he dropped out of college in his first year, he took a bunch of them, none of them lasting more than 6 months. He considers saving the world from the demon hordes to be a blast, when everyone around him finds it either terrifying or tedious. Always the first to jump into danger, and the last one to leave, "I have a plan" are said to be the four most dangerous words in his vocabulary. His speech is littered with hyperbole, using it often to embellish his adventures (and penis size) to cartoonish levels.
Everything about him is so over the top, that many fail to realize that behind the merciless teasing of his best friend, John is a loyal friend who always sticks to his word. The dying wish of a man he had only just met, which was to watch over his sister, was fulfilled until the girl left for college. Which was no easy task, considering that the girl was missing her left hand and never left her house. John's compassion is well-hidden, but most certainly there. He never referred to her as everyone else knew her, as "the girl with the missing hand," she was always just Amy. He sees life with an outlook that is positive to the point of foolishness, and seems to think, even while the world is ending, that he is invincible.
Why should they be a camp counselor? John's in-between jobs often, and really, it's just to earn himself some cash doing something fun. But he is, actually, semi-qualified. He's very experienced in dealing with magical creatures, athletic, and can entertain as a musician. A terrible one, but still.
One roleplay sample: The band's gonna be pissed when they find out I went to Iowa to help at a summer camp. If they change the name without me again, someone's getting their ass kicked.
But I think this is gonna be great. I mean, they're paying me to hang out in the sun all day and hang out with a bunch of British kids. Make sure they follow rules, and don't hurt themselves, and stuff. And that's easy, right? I mean, British kids are supposed to be too busy reading and drinking tea to misbehave. I bet they all have that funny accent, too.
Yeah. It'll be great. I'll teach them about American things, like cheeseburgers and fun.
Accepted!
Counselor - Toto Sakigami
Name: Heron
Timezone: EST
Personal Journal:
Players Contact/AIM/MSN/YAHOO: AIM: lvl8themagician
Email Address: lvl8themagician@gmail.com
Character Information
Name: Toto Sakigami
Canon Origin/Series: Deadman Wonderland
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Personality:
The first thing you might notice upon meeting Toto is that he's got a couple screws loose. If you're lucky, he'll remember his own name right away. If you're luckier, he'll remember whether to refer to himself as male or female. Even if his memory serves him well, his expressions don't always suit his words, and his words don't always fit what he means, creating some truly creepy moments.
Despite his disorientation issues, he's actually pretty perceptive about people and a very good listener. Although he uses this to be mildly teasing once in a while, it makes him understanding of what others are going through. He prefers to nudge people in the direction he thinks is best; even when he flat out gives advice, he doesn't try to enforce it. His suggestions may not be particularly kind towards anyone but the person he's talking to, but it's always a legitimate way for that person to reframe or get through a situation while minimizing the potential damage to themselves.
If someone who's like a friend to him isn't enjoying themselves he'll stay with them and, if they want, talk over what's on their mind. He does show distaste towards people who hurt others because they're too weak to even be a reliable friend, though.
Toto avoids outright lying, although he'll leave out things someone shouldn't know. Or fail to reach the point by speaking in cryptic, rambling descriptions. He does have a tendency towards sneaking about and eavesdropping and not giving warnings when he enters a room silently. If/when he's caught, he won't even try coming up with excuses.
There's a desire for power within him, but he knows full well that the only one who really controls him is himself, and it doesn't visibly bother him when someone thinks otherwise.
Toto is hardly innocent or naive. Still, he's almost childlike sometimes. He underreacts to and isn't really fazed by bad or frightening things, and overreacts to and is unnecessarily excited by pleasant things.
He's also obsessive over Branches of Sin and regaining his strength, with little trickle-y hints of former bloodthirstiness. This is one side of him that won't show up here, because it's, you know, AU, and I'm sure he's never killed anyone or been in screwed-up-amusement-park-prisons in SH-verse.
Why should they be a camp counselor?
It's partly true to say that it's because he was bored. The other main reason is that he's able to do it now, and that reason alone would be good enough. Toto's body is kinda fragile, and while it's mostly healed up he still injures easily this is canon. This would be the first opportunity in a few years for him to do something normal without it really messing him up.
Also he'd be that one counselor who's totally into it and will embarrass all the kids.
One roleplay sample:
The shirts sparkled.
Why couldn't all clothes sparkle? ...Then again, that could get irritating, Toto supposed. Especially if the sparkles washed off. They'd get all over everything.
(He resolved to find a sparkle spell once he got back home. Maybe it could go on a pair of mittens...)
The unicorn was almost cute, although kind of odd-looking. Probably the ear of corn on its head. One of the younger children had asked if she would get to see any unicorns. Toto was pretty certain there weren't actually any in the area, and definitely none like the one on the shirt. But he'd smiled at her, told her that if she kept an eye out she might get lucky and spot one. She'd shrieked loudly and run back to the rest of her group, telling them there were unicorns in the forest.
Well now, that wasn't what he'd said at all. Hopefully, the kids wouldn't be too disappointed if they didn't see a unicorn at camp. They seemed to be having fun though, and that was good.

Counselor - Koenma: 1/2 Yes I am that bad for writing so much >.<
Name: Clara

Players Contact/AIM/MSN/YAHOO: AIM: RainbowofShadow

Character Information
Name: King Enma Jr, aka Koenma
Canon Origin/Series: YuYu Hakusho
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Personality: Koenma, to be blunt, was born to lead, literally, he has no choice in the matter. Ever since he was small he's been put through his paces to learn how to be in charge. His father Enma (often thought of as a king by his frightened employees) has spent years grooming his son to take over his position one day in charge of one of the largest Wizarding Bureau's in America. Thus as you can imagine, his son Junior is has a lot to live up to.
Needless to say Koenma (a nickname developed by his friends since he was sick of being called Junior all the time) already seems quite formal and stern to many people, almost to the point where he takes his work too seriously as he can get rather snappish with people who irk him. This ranges from someone being incompetant or because they happened to snicker at the sight of a grown man who walks around with a pacifier in his mouth and 'Jr' tattooed on his forehead. Still this has the right effect most of the time as he gets things done to best of his ability.
Despite this, Koenma is still young, and as such has a few moments of failure, which often he doesn't take well. Half the time it results in him punishing whoever has messed up and frantically trying to fix things, the other half results in him cowering in fear of what his father will do to him for his mistake. Yes, as much as he hates to admit it, he is intimidated by his towering and temperamental parent, namely since the consequences of angering his father were never pleasant.
However, Koenma, believe it or not, will stand up for himself and others when it counts. It might take a serious ordeal to make him openly disagree with his father, but at that Junior is not above a little bit of rebellion to get a point across, and to prove to his old man and himself that he won't flee from confrontation. Despite his harshness he is responsible but at the time attentive to people, and tries to treat them with respect rather than intimidate them into obeying. He's even known to have a good sense of humour and overall fun to be around if someone gets to know him well enough as a person, not just a boss or son of the scary King Enma. Really he had to mature quickly and as such missed out on some of the fun of being a kid, so can act a little goofy at times, but it balances out with the responsible leader side of him quite well.
Counselor - Koenma: 2/2
Still, Junior is still harbouring that bit of resistence of this control, and instead of actually looking through all the profiles of vacancies his father had put together, he did his own search. If he was going to have to do work experience instead of enjoying his summer break, at the very least he would make sure it was somewhat fun, i.e. not consisting of him sitting in stuffy office signing papers all day.
As luck would have it he managed to stumble across the wanted notice for camp councillers, and after a long debate with his father, where he argued that if he couldn't keep a bunch of kids in line there was no hope for him in a real seat of power, he permitted to take the job. All and all he has been trained for a long time to lead, he would work well as an authority figure. On the other hand he's still young himself so could still have a lot of fun with kids, not just act as a stern stick in the mud.
One roleplay sample: Darn it, it really is scorching out today. Still, no better weather for summer fun, just remember to put on sunblock today everyone. We'll list off activities at breakfast and you guys just put your names on the sign up sheets.
This may be busy but it's WAY better that sitting at a desk in an itchy suit in an office where the air conditioning was bound to be on the fritz.Remember also today we're having our mid-day nature hike, so make sure your packs are ready, we're leaving right after lunch. Oh and while I know you'll be very tempted to go leaving trails of food on the paths, don't. We don't need any other creatures turning up and raiding the mess hall thank you very much, or worse yet have a repeat of what happened yesterday in cabin five.
Even if it was kinda funny those girls thought they going to catch something off that raccoon-...Damn, stop it! It's not funny at all! And besides, I KNOW Dad will have someone keeping tabs on me. I don't want to go home to a month long session of wizard invoice stamping. And one more thing: any clever little comments about what is on my forehead or in my mouth will result in that individual being confined to their cabin during morning activities by the lake and will thus miss out on swimming and canoeing fun. That's the only warning you get so I suggest you keep any jokes to yourselves.

Character Information
Name: Ryohei Sasagawa (though I can just fashion up a more American last name if you'd like)
Canon Origin/Series: Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Gender: Male
Age: 25/26
Personality:
Ryohei likes it EXTREME! A big brother at heart, he likes facing things head on and to the extreme! You better stay out of his way once he gets his mind set on something, because he will go all out. He has a tendency of adding "to the extreme!" to anything because that's how he lives his life; to the extreme.
As a kid, he used to try to hide his fighting itch from his sister, because when they were in grade-school she got wrangled into being bait by a bunch of bullies. (That's when he got the scar on his face.) Even though his sister worried about hims, he was not dissuaded and continued to fight. (He did try not to get hurt so that his sister wouldn't have to see anymore scars.) Over the years, the protectiveness towards his sister has transferred on to a protectiveness of girls in general. It's not sexual harassment, big-bro just wants to keep you safe!
Ryohei likes action. He'll find any excuse to get out there and do something extreme. Because of his enthusiasm, he sometimes rushes into things without really knowing what he's up against, so he can end up looking like kind of an idiot. (Fighting bears, anyone?) He gets flustered easily and has a short attention span for the most part. He isn't stupid, he just... doesn't bother with things that aren't extreme. And he's really damn forgetful; he has to write stuff done almost constantly to avoid forgetting instructions. (Again, if it isn't extreme, he just can't be bothered with it.)
He's mellowed out over the years, but he's still the same extreme-obsessed punk that he was as kid. Now he just has an education and a job behind it.
Why should they be a camp counselor? Ryohei likes to see people fired up! He's good with kids (somehow) and oozes energy through his pores! If he can't energize your students, no one can. He's also a physical-activity enthusiast! Come on, kids! Up on those brooms! Get those feet rolling!
...He could probably power the camp with all that energy he's got. (And he totally isn't a spy for an American Wizard mafia, if that's what you're insinuating.)
One roleplay sample:
SCHOOL DANCE. BECAUSE... YES.Huh. This was an extremely weird idea. A dance? Well, the kids would probably enjoy it. Ryohei had a girlfriend, so it's not like he'd be asking any of the other counselors out. In fact, there was something extremely suspicious about the whole thing. Aren't there a lot of guys in camp? This dance could be extremely boring if turned out to be just guys. Oh well, he was just the messenger. He'd investigate what was up with that later.
Clearing his throat, Ryohei pulled his wand out and placed it at his neck. "...what was it...? Sonuva? No, no... Sonorayflow? Oh! Right. Sonorus!" Instantly, his voice became magnified to where it could be heard throughout the camp (and that's when he wasn't screaming). "ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP TO THE EXTREME! There's a dance coming up next week and... uhh... what else was it?"
"I FORGOT THE REST TO THE EXTREME! COME ASK ME IN FIFTEEN MINUTES." He shouted. It seems Ryohei didn't get the memo on how the Sonorus spell was supposed to be used to avoid having to raise his voice. Eh. Everyone was probably used to it by now.

Character Information
Name: Valerie Frizzle
Canon Origin/Series: The Magic Schoolbus
Gender: Female
Age: 38
Personality: Ms. Frizzle is zany, but fun. Her catchphrase (among others) is "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!" It's a phrase that she applies liberally to her life. She never lets hesitation or fear of the unknown hold her back from doing anything that she wants to do. Because what better way to conquer one's fear of the unknown than to dive in and get to know it?
Ms. Frizzle is also very outgoing. She has friends anywhere and everywhere you could imagine, usually thanks to her far-reaching adventures when she was younger. And if she doesn't have a friend already, she'll make one. Not many people can resist her natural exuberance and bubbly, pleasant demeanor.
To some, Ms. Frizzle can seem a little... odd. After all, she has a habit of making vague, mysterious comments (because hello, she can't just give you all the answers), doing impressions, wearing interestingly-patterned clothes, and talking to her pet lizard (creatively named Liz). It's not a bad kind of strange, though, as anyone who spends more than five minutes with her can tell you. Her good mood is pretty much infectious.
Why should they be a camp counselor? She loves working with kids, especially in a teaching capacity, considering that her regular job is an elementary school teacher. She favors a hands-on approach, of the kind that is naturally suited to a camp environment. Obvserving microorganisms in the lake, designing the most aerodynamic paper airplane or showing campers the optimal way to toast a marshmallow, Ms. Frizzle will do it, and she'll make the children like it, too.
One roleplay sample: Ms. Frizzle hummed to herself as she worked, getting everything set up for the morning session. They were going to be studying magical creatures today, and she hoped the campers would be as enthusiastic about it as she was. The camp wouldn't allow her to bring in a jarvey (which was a shame-- fascinating creatures, but the camp director claimed that parents had complained about the foul language their children had picked up), but she did have a perch with a juvenile jobberknoll, that stared at her silently with large black eyes. She smiled and stroked its head. "Ahhh, I love the smell of deciduous hardwood in the morning. Don't you?"

Name: Sid Barrett
Canon Origin/Series: Soul Eater
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Personality:
A MOTHERFUCKING NINJA. No, really. Sometimes he just pops out of nowhere. He wouldn't be doing reconnaissance if he wasn't. :VA teacher that is enthusiastic about imparting knowledge onto his little students, seeming to favor the hands-on method of learning through trial and error, albeit these trial and error methods tend to be controlled most of the time or Sid can guess how they'll end up accuratelywith his zombie braaains. Even through fairly unorthodox methods. He doesn't coddle his students by any means and keeps his cards close to his chest. The latter is spurred by his sense of duty towardsDWMAShibusen. BUT there is a downside to Sid's personality, namely him being blue. And I don't mean depressed, he is literally blue. Sid came down with a case of death and zombie resurrection after the series started and since then it's been a sore spot for him in some respects. He knows he's terrifying/looks odd and doesn't like being around people he doesn't know or be in public places and takes it very hard when people react with fear to him.
"I wish I was never brought back to life!"This might be part of the reason why he has the verbal tic "that's the kind of man I once was" or some variation thereof whenever he does something noble or...anything in general. He probably does it after he takes out the trash, too.He mentions that adults cling to the past while children charge on towards the future after saying he used to be a good-looking guy.SO YEAH HE REGRETS IT A LITTLE. JUST A LITTLE.In short, Sid Barrett is in fact a zombie ninja that's insecure about his appearance and doesn't like frightening others, but he'll still teach your ass what's what and doesn't care if it looks like you're going to be in serious trouble because he knows you won't.
Why should they be a camp counselor? Because he loves working with children and teaching them things so much he came back from the dead to do it. No, not really. But he really does like working with children and imparting his knowledge onto them and even if he does tend to step back and let them go on with their business so they can learn things, he's not about to let them get their heads ripped off by bears. That wouldn't be very professional.
One roleplay sample: It was only natural for a counselor to go and greet the campers on the first day of camp, and Sid was never one to procrastinate on duties. The kind of man he used to be was always prompt and straightforward.
However, there was the problem of him noticing there were some rather young-looking campers among the teens. Sid hesitated upon realizing that his appearance might frighten them and debated actually leaving the hallway. He opted to slowly peek his head out of the doorway and eventually edge his way out, close to the wall.
"Hey, where'd that totem pole come from?" a girl asked, pointing at Sid.
A totem pole. Sid sighed and shook his head. "If this is what you think a totem pole looks like, you lot need more teaching than I expected." He felt a little bad when the girl squeaked and jumped back, but he could save the apologies for later. "The kind of man I was wouldn't have quibbled over small details, though, so let's just get to the point: I'm Sid Barrett and I'm one of your counselors." Not waiting for a reaction from the children, Sid hefted up the clipboard he had been holding and glanced over the content. "And this is the list of campers who are supposed to be here. Let's get started with the roll call. If I find anyone's off fooling around instead of being here...well, I'll just hope you haven't been eaten by bears yet."

Character Information
Name: Subaru Kujou
Canon Origin/Series: Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love
Gender: No one knows, but since she generally uses female pronouns when referring to herself, I'll be doing the same.
Age: At least 20. Probably.
Personality: Subaru Kujo would like to think that she's a flawless being, that she's above such menial things as pride, personal connections, or even having a personality of her own. She acts cool, calm, and rational all the time, even in the heat of battle. She rarely speaks more than absolutely necessary, and whenever someone's in need of help, she'll usually just stand off to the side and try not to get invovled. In her mind, she is something that simply 'is'.
This, however, is complete nonsense.
The truth is that Subaru is immensely arrogant, often looking down on others and mocking their intelligence and capability. She rarely lies, but this doesn't mean she's an honest person. In fact, she has a mischeivious streak, and enjoys teasing and tricking those close to her, aided by her excellent skills as an actor. And of course, she is really no where near as unaffected by her surroundings as she acts. Deep down, she has a kind heart, and sometimes gives advice to people and watches out for them, even if it winds up coming off as scathing or insulting at times.
She keeps an air of mystery about her, and refuses to reveal almost any details about herself. This includes, but is not limited to, such things as her age, her family, where she grew up, and even her own gender. She claims that such things are meaningless, but after a while, it's more apparent that she enjoys watching people's confusion almost as much as retaining her privacy.
Why should they be a camp counselor? Subaru could have applied for the job for a number a reasons. Perhaps her boss at work decided that she should try to become more social, and thought that a part-time job at a camp would help. Perhaps someone simply said she couldn't do it if she tried, and she's bound and determined to prove them wrong. Either way, she's very qualified, and could take the campers star-gazing, or entertain with her singing and acting abilities, and her attempts at jazz music.
One roleplay sample: Subaru would like to announce that she will be taking anyone who is interested stargazing tomorrow night. Please sign up ahead of time, so that I may know whether or not a second counsellor will be necessary.
I also expect everyone going to not waste my time with foolish questions that do not pertain to the subject matter. I will have no patience in answering anything regarding my personal life, especially those related to a certain wager I have heard has been going on amongst the campers. I trust I do not have to name names.

Character Information
Name: Ellis Smith (does not have a canon last name, but uh for now I’ll just give him something generic)
Canon Origin/Series: Left 4 Dead 2
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Personality: Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, Ellis is the picture of a redneck hick, to the degree you might think he's trying to be one. He drinks Pabst beer every Saturday, he has an accent thicker than his skull, and he never, ever takes off his trademark trucker hat, complete with a little white tow truck on the dome. He’s a mechanic as a day job, working without magic on muggle cars and trucks in a shop he owns with a couple of his best buddies. But under all the grease grime on his nails and his appearance as a non-magical douche bag (his tribal tattoo makes this seem very apparent) Ellis is actually a decent wizard with a fascination of necromancy and a really nice guy. He has the remarkable skill to remain cheerful and excitable through just about anything, to pat you on the back when you need it, and to be just so annoying that he’s absolutely endearing. He loves talking, and if he likes you (which he likes pretty much everyone right off the bat) he’ll regale you with stories of his buddies who have a penchant for physically harming themselves. If he really likes you, he might invite you for Sunday dinner with his Ma. She’s a muggle though, and if you give her one bit of grief, he’ll curse you faster than you can say any counter spell. Maybe he's a bit of a man-boy, but he’s a good one.
Why should they be a camp counselor? Ellis loves helping people, and generally likes people in general. He tends to live a mostly muggle lifestyle, so when he sees the camp is taking in wizards from across the sea for the summer, he decides to take a break to stretch the magical side of him. His buddies can take care of the shop, and hell, he’ll get to leave some impressions on the kids, maybe something they can take back across the sea with them. He’ll give them some magical and non-magical survival skills at the very least! With buddies like his (his friend Keith has been burnt on over 95 percent of his body twice) he can’t help but to have picked up quite a few.
pt. 2
Ellis stretches, looking at his bedside clock with sleep clogged eyes. His first reaction is to hit it and roll back over, before he remembers that he has a long day at the car shop to look forward to, and that if he’s late again Dave will have his ass and several of his limbs too. With a heavy groan, he rolls out of bed, sheets falling to the floor haphazardly and trailing behind him as he makes his way to the kitchen. He hits the ‘on’ button on his coffee pot (because he insists that coffee brewed the muggle way tastes best) and shakes himself in an attempt to wake up some and ease the soreness in his neck. A screech makes him jump, but it is merely the post owl, a big barn fella with huge orange eyes that give him a nice glare until he slips a few sickles into his pack, laughing and ruffling its feathers (much to its displeasure).
As it flies off, he glances at the mail, though he doesn’t expect it to bring anything new. His magically inclined friends prefer visiting via floo, and his Ma and non-magical type friends, of course, call him, so really, what is he going to get but ads? With a small sigh, he tosses down the multi-coloured moving cards that advertise new brooms and fancy magical doodads that he can't afford, about to get ready for his day without a second thought to them when one catches his eye. He moves the other junk aside, staring at the unicorn on the card and reading the details below it with a big grin. A camp for some young British wizards, in need of counselors. He thinks about it: a few weeks of his time and it’s not like he can’t pop into work every so often, quite literally. Within a few seconds (and quite honestly before he's really thought about the consequences), he makes up his mind, because, damn, when was the last time anything interesting happened to him anyways?
"Well, shit,” he says to himself, scratching the side of his nose. “Looks like I bes' call in for a vacation!"
He hopes they have horses.
If you'd like anything like a different, less... fic-like sample, or a less generic last name, please do say so!
Accepted!
Sorry. I'll do it without errors this time

Character Information
Name: George Colthurst St. Barleigh
Canon Origin/Series: Blackadder Goes Fourth
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Personality:
The first thing which one notices about George is his idealism and constantly upbeat outlook on life
He is extremely steadfast in this positive attitude, and remains unshaken even in the rather bleak situation in which he finds himself in canon (the trenches during WW1). Indeed, the only time his positive attitude ever seems to slip is when he is facing certain death, and even then he strives not to let his negative feelings become dominant.
He is quintessentially, bordering on stereotypically, British and in many ways the embodiment of the ‘upper class twit’. He is frequently noted as being rather stupid and lacking in any kind of skill. In spite of this, he remains an endearing character due to his amiable personality. He does, however, possess a great talent for painting and while he acknowledges this as ‘the only thing he was ever any good at’, he doesn’t seem to appreciate the full extent of his skills, which appears to stem from both modesty (“one doesn’t like to blow ones own trumpet”) and sheer stupidity.
He is also shown to be extremely loyal, even to those who have been less than kind to him in the past. Demonstrated by his steadfast desire to rescue Captain Blackadder from capture, despite being constantly reassured of the futility of his efforts, and also seen in the finale, when he is offered the chance to opt out the ‘big push’ which would inevitably result in his death, yet chooses to remain rather than abandon his comrades. However, His almost blind respect for his comrades and superiors means that he can sometimes be rather easily taken advantage of.
Why should they be a camp counsellor?
George is unlikely to have the skills to hold down the ‘respectable’ white collar job expected of someone of his prestigious background. In all likelihood, he could more then afford not to work at all, but his enthusiastic personality would not allow him to be content doing this. With this in mind it seems like he would jump at such an opportunity were it to come up. He also has a strong ‘team mentality’, so the group activities associated with camp would appeal to him.
His positive and upbeat personality seem very well suited to the position, and while he may not have great leadership qualities, he never succumbs to negativity and would probably fit into the ‘perky camp counsellor‘ role rather well.
He appears to be in rather good physical shape and also has great degree of artistic skill, which would make him capable of engaging in the typical ‘camp-type’ activities.
One roleplay sample:
Dawn had barely broken when the silence surrounding the camp was broken by the bright, chipper sound pouring out from the magical PA system
“Good Morning, chaps. Time to head on out for your day morning at Camp.”
George could hear his own voice ringing in the speakers. Despite the hour, he was entirely energized and gearing to get started with the latest group of camp visitors. This had been the third group he would be working with since he began his job at the start of the summer and, truth be told, the group he had been most looking forward to. They were from his side of the pond, after all, and it would be nice to see just a little bit of old Blighty after these few months.
“Now let’s all head out and grab some breakfast before we get torn in to some good old camp activities!”

Name: Columbus Franklin (he doesn't have a real last name in canon so I made the county Columbus Ohio is in as his last name..lol)
Canon Origin/Series: Zombieland
Gender: Male
Age: [17 and up only] 20
Personality:
He's a bit of a bitchColumbus comes off as a scared little bunny but he's surprisingly versatile. He's Muggleborn and a bit of a nerd who spends entirely too many hours playing video games and role playing games which leads him to think outside the normal wizard's box.Intelligent but a bit paranoid, Columbus began developing his own sets of rules in the event of Death Eater attacks/activity. He's happy to share these rules if he thinks someone will benefit from them.
Why should they be a camp counselor?
His parents are kicking him out of the house for the summer. The reason he'll give however is that he likes the idea of helping kids be prepared for..well, bad things. He also wants the extra cash so he can be nerdy and buy his girlfriend a promise ring.
One roleplay sample:
Columbus stared at the sea of eager little faces of the campers in front of him. 'Okay, breathe..they're just kids' he thought to himself. He cleared his throat.
"Uh..hi..um, welcome to camp. I'm your counselor Columbus. Um..well, not your counselor but A counselor..there's lots of counselors...he trailed off.
The kids stared back at him and some exchanged "Is this guy really in charge?" looks with each other.'Get a grip, you're losing them'
"Um..anyways! I'm here to teach you alternative methods of defense..using other things as weapons, thinking quick on your feet and some target practice."
He turned and gestured to the field behind him. It was full of stacks of hay bales and cardboard cut outs that looked suspiciously like zombies and World of Warcraft characters in Death Eater robes. The kids interest perked up a little.
"Okay, first things first..we're going to get in a few laps around the lake..cardio and limbering up is very important and..uh..yes?" He pointed at a little girl who had her hand up and was waving frantically.
"Why do we have to do this stuff?" she asked with a curl of her lip. "We have WANDS."
Columbus looked surprised. "Well, tell me.. what will you do if you're disarmed? Hope the Death Eater, or Infiri, or...whatever gets bored and leaves?"
The girl closed her mouth since she didn't have an answer and Columbus smiled a bit. "Exactly."
He fumbled in his shirt for a second before pulling out a whistle. "All right guys..three laps around the lake and then come back and we'll divide into teams for target practice." He blew the whistle. "Go!"

Character Information
Name: Minatsuki Takami
Canon Origin/Series: Deadman Wonderland
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Personality: On the surface, Minatsuki projects herself as comely, kind, and shy (what with that cute and charming stutter). But even then, her misdeeds are apparent to those who know her true nature (which, mind you, is rare); that is, she sabotages the people around her because, underneath it all, she does not think of them as worthy of anything. Humans are garbage, just ask her deceased mother! When a tornado warning was issued, her mother ran as fast as she could to the basement, swatting Minatsuki away from her when the girl reached for her hand. In that very moment, Minatsuki realized that she couldn't trust anyone or anything, and hoped, with all her might, for something to stop her. 'Lo and behold, a bookcase fell atop her and she died from the blow it dealt to her head.
How the bookcase fell?
Magic. It is still a mystery to this very day (at least, to her naive father).Since then, Minatsuki has derived sick, twisted pleasure from others' suffering, be it physical, emotional or mental, and, given the opportunity, she will make matters much, much worse. She is foul-mouthed with those who cross her and isn't afraid to get downright nasty and unladylike. But don't worry! Minatsuki also has mundane interests like potions! And plants (dangerous plants, too).
As I mentioned before, Minatsuki is a master of disguise. She is good enough to pull off the s-sweet innocent girl ///, but when people discover her true nature and still treat her ... nicely, she becomes confused and prickly. In other words, she doesn't react well to goody-goody two-shoes, she doesn't understand them, and it makes her heart skip a bit.
TL;DR: Minatsuki projects herself as MOE MOE, but she is in fact tsunderanged.
Why should they be a camp counselor?
Because it would be funny. Her father got her the job in the first place and, upon being ask, Minatsuki will stutter out that she took the job because she needed work experience with which to fill out her resumé. Besides, children are so sweet! This experience will give her the opportunity to foment aferventlove for Herbology.XXX SCUM, IS WHAT THEY ARE.COUNSELOR, minatsuki takami | two of two | omg, last time i submit this sample i swear

Name: Bender Bending Rodriguez
Canon Origin/Series: Futurama
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Personality: Bender is a completely self-absorbed hedonistic jerkwad. He smokes, steals, spends time with hookers, and has a tolerance for alcohol previously thought available only to norse gods. He'll do just about anything to get attention and recognition for how great he thinks he is. Bender cares primarily about two things: Himself, and that which reminds him of himself. Still, underneath all that, he has a heart of gold. Well, okay, maybe silver. Alright, fine, copper. Point is, it's there when it's needed most. He's rude to the nth degree, but can come off as charismatic if he needs to - usually to swindle somebody out of something. He would never admit it to anybody, but he cares for his friends a lot, and would even put his life on the line for them. He loves to cook, despite being as bad (if not worse) as Jomy was at it.
Why should they be a camp counselor? Why would he want to be a counselor? He felt like doing something different for a little bit. Besides, the authorities tend to look favorably upon people who help children - he could use that.
That, and stealing from schoolkids is like taking candy from a baby.It also helps that he has a hidden passion for folk music, and would love to sing around the fire if got enabled into it.One roleplay sample:
Wow, these kids are a bunch of annoying little brats. Some of them are pretty cool, though. I'm pretty sure I saw that blond kid sneaking some alcohol in - I'll have to get a little of that, myself. This is pretty great, though. They even let me do "safety inspections" in the cabins when the kids had moved in.
Heeheeheeheeheehee. Suckers.
Hey, what the?! There's nothing in this wallet! Lousy broke kids, not having any money to steal.

Personality: He's a clumsy idiot who has had numerous jobs that didn't work out, but he's determined all the same. He follows orders easily, even if it does take him a few trial runs before he gets it perfect. He does his best to stay out of the spotlight. No attention keeps him from making a bigger fool of himself when he screws up. Shy is another one of his major traits, especially around girls, though he tries to look suave at times. He's never exactly sure what to say to people at first, so he rambles a lot.
Why should they be a camp counselor? He neeeeds a job. Like, seriously needs a job. After the fifth time being fired for being a failure, he's this close to living in a box. What can be easier than watching a bunch of kids for the summer?

Character Information
Name: Ryoji Fujioka; Alias: Ranka
Canon Origin/Series: Ouran High School Host Club (shh it's like 4 AM and I don't have to do canon review)
Gender: Male
Age: About 35
Personality: Ranka is, in a word, a complete spaz. He can go from calm and utterly deadpan in one moment, to heart-meltingly mushy gushy in the next, depending on the situation. He is a single parent and adores his daughter and late wife so very much- "She's the only woman I'll ever love," he'll proclaim, though that doesn't necessarily mean that men are offlimits. You see, he is a professional crossdresser and takes his job so very seriously; so much so that he won't STAND to see other boys or men doing it in a half-assed way. Ranka, for the most part, gets along with everyone (though there is an understandable rift between him and anyone who might display a romantic interest in his daughter), but he especially adores spending time with girls and women- naturally, being such a connoisseur of feminine beauty and beauty products, he enjoys talking anything from make-up to shoes with the true girly-girls of the world (and he's not-so-secretly very interested in dolling his own daughter up, though she won't stand for it, which tends to depress him a bit).
Ranka is the kind of person that you can repeatedly knock down over and over again without defeating his spirit. He's a bit on the whiny side at times, and almost appears a bit daft in moments, but when the situation calls for it, he can definitely get down to business, create plans, and get things done. He's also FIERCELY protective of anyone close to him. Overall, I'd say Ranka is a guy whose main priority is just to enjoy the simple things in life- friends, family, fashion, and food. The four f's!
Why should they be a camp counselor? Ranka actually applied for the job hoping that if he were to become a counselor, he might be able to push his daughter Haruhi into joining as well- with any luck, she'd be paired with a bunch of girls and they'd help to bring out her feminine side a bit more. But as for a reason why he personally might benefit the camp- well, like mentioned in the personality section, Ranka takes all jobs of his VERY seriously, and, knowing the reputation of many summer camps, he figured the camp could use a bit of a feminine touch.
Also, don't be surprised if you catch him out shamelessly flirting with other male counselors. He's prone to do that sometimes. One roleplay sample: This camp? Ohhh, what an absolutely amazing idea it was! Honestly, have you seen the shirts? They are darling. I can't wait to get one and wear it out-- oh, and to see my precious Haruhi running around in one as well! Can you just imagine?
Really, a woman's touch is just what the doctor ordered when it comes to this place. I've been to Iowa. It's a bit... boring, really. And I can't imagine a summer camp being much better. But nobody should worry too much! I've already ordered dozens of lilies to decorate the cafeteria tables with, and with the budget I was given to work with? Well... let's just say, that's only the beginning of project "Camp Beautification!"

OOC: I've mentioned this to you guys before, but I wanted to say somethng again just in case- I should be available for most of July, but I am expecting to have to move in to my new apartment on the 20th, and after that point, I'm not sure what my availability will be. Counselor - Catherine Harcourt 1/2
Name: Jade

Players Contact/AIM/: Finis Omne
Email Address: lung_tien_xiang[at]yahoo[dot]com
Character Information
Name: Catherine Harcourt
Canon Origin/Series: Temeraire Series
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Personality:
She can be shy and somewhat awkward because of how young she is compared to the other people that she is currently around, though if someone actually did make a slight about her for any reason, she wouldn't mind giving others a piece of her mind, defending her position, and standing her ground. She also stands her ground when she's being harassed by someone, and will take steps to get her message through to the offending party. Once, when she was sixteen at a classical music concert, a slightly older man was making unwanted remarks and advances toward her. She, being the lady that she was [and since she's quite unused to wearing dresses, and had trouble arranging it when she sat down], only asked for a pot of hot coffee from one of the waiters at hand, and poured it all over his lap. That shut the man up, and forced him to leave.
She can be very nice toward most people, being quite amicable enough to most, though she can be cautious at times. Most of the time, she has a rather calm disposition, though that's quickly changed when someone she knows is near, and she has a kind smile on her face, ready to engage in some sort of talk, though it could most definitely turn into sports talk.
When it comes to that which she loves, which is flying, she really shows a lot of her true colors. She can be strong and forceful if need be when she finds herself in a tight spot while in a game. She is pretty much a team player, and knows how to deal with all the members of the team, knowing that if she's got their backs, they will definitely have hers, which is basically the definition of a great team. She is not one to quit all too easily, even if she's personally injured, she would still go on to fly, and play, showing off her grit.
To the people that she has come to know, she can come to care about them a great deal, even if she doesn't much show it outwardly, unless they somehow become injured in one way or another, in which case, she will nearly break down, get into a dark depression for not having been able to save them from said injury, and stay beside them, sitting next to their bed if necessary, as long as the person knows that she'll be there for them, no matter what.
She also has a sense of adventure, being somewhat of an outdoorsy type of person, going along with her father and friends over toward other exotic countries, walking into the wilderness, taking photos, looking for those rare animals, and just enjoying the fact that she's in a place that most other people haven't even dared step foot in. Of the several places that she's gone, she's gone to the China's interior, as well as South Africa, to name a few.
Counselor - Catherine Harcourt 2/2
Catherine is pretty much one of the youngest captains in the whole Professional Quodpot Federation. Of course, that was decided after the captain of Denver Skygliders decided to retire from the federation after playing for twelve straight seasons. She was one of the youngest to be drafted into the federation ever since its inception, but she had proved her worth in her first season fresh out of school, with a net 15% higher scoring average than most of her colleagues, and all of that without the Quod ever exploding in her face. A pretty nice, neat record for the season.
Several weren't quite happy with her 'promotion' into being a Captain for the new incoming season, but others were genuinely happy for her to do so. Some are just plain worried that a new player to the pro league like her won't have enough experience in order to effectively lead the team, while other still just dislike the fact since she's a female leading a more-dominantly male team. Those that are excited about the fact that there will be a fresh new face on as the leader of this Western-conference winning team, plus the chance to see a female at the lead, one of the few among the many different teams.
Now, her manager said that since she was to be a household name among Quodpot fans in America, she should do something that should be seen as giving back to the community, or even be a part of something that would make her seem to be rather charitable by giving up not only some money, but more importantly, her time and efforts.
Which is why she naturally chose to do something in which she knew she could handle - being a camp counselor for a prestigious wizarding camp, and be none other than the Quodpot instructor.
She just hopes that she can, in fact, do it all without stressing herself out.
One roleplay sample:
"So, the camp deal - you're really, honestly going to go through with it?"
Catherine nodded as she replied to her manager, Jane, "What's so bad about going through with it? You yourself told me that doing something for the wizarding community, or giving some of my time would be best. At least in this way, I can at least show the kids something fun, and something that I know.
Jane shrugged, "I thought you could do a one-time deal, doing a canned food drive for the needy, or even something with more exposure than some dinky little camp."
Catherine raised a brow, "It's only one of the best known camps in the United States. I even heard that these British kids were supposed to come over this year as well, as a sort of cultural exchange thing, or something? If you get the people from the newspapers, you can probably tell 'em that I'm teaching foreign kids the joys of Quodpot."
She didn't really care about what sort of spin that Jane was going to put on this, but she knew that she was going to have some fun while she was out there. It had been a while since she'd been able to feel like a kid again, and at least in this way, she could go ahead and do so. She'd just be in a position of authority.
"Well, that does sound like a good way to put a spin on things..."
"Right? So just set things up like that, and you let me do what I'm supposed to do at the camp, and we're all set. It's only going to be for a month - what can go wrong?"

Players Contact/AIM/MSN/YAHOO: You got it

Character Information
Name: Sue Sylvester
Canon Origin/Series: Glee
Gender: Female
Age: 29 (So she says, but she's clearly around 50)
Personality: Sue is a determined winner, which is really an understatement to the EXTREME. By determined, it means she will do anything in her power to not only crush you, but make you feel like all your efforts were for nothing, and there's nothing that makes her happier than tasting your delicious failure. She leads her Cheerios with an iron fist, and for this, she wins championships. If she happens to lose, the rage she exhibits will be unleashed on all who cross her path. (Yet, even in that failure, she still manages to get a leg up in a way that will make you feel like you haven't COMPLETELY got one over on her.) She will blackmail and cheat and do ANYTHING to win and loves feeling the fear of everyone around her.
Sue is also a great leader, is extremely blunt and speaks what's on her mind, insulting everyone around her without any remorse as well as being very offensive in the eyes of anyone who has ever uttered the word 'Politically Incorrect'. She expects perfection from her cheerleaders and doesn't tolerate weakness, all the while terrorizing the Glee club at every possible turn. She is, truly, gleefully evil, and loves having power, and lords it over...uh...everyone. Despite all this, she does seem to put a great deal of importance in being a good teacher, and she does have a softer side. She has an older sister with Down Syndrome who she visits frequently and she eventually gets Principal Figgins to give Glee Club another year because of her respect for Will's work with them (even though she still hates him), showing she doesn't have a complete heart of stone.
Sue seems to make a lot of dubious claims, which are anything from lying about her age to having been a special forces operative for the US Government and that she's assisted in the capture of Noriega. There's a line of insanity with Sue--you just don't know what side she's on.
Why should they be a camp counselor? She's a coach of one of the best cheerleading teams in the Midwest and if there's one thing she excels at, it's putting fear into the hearts of
everyonechildren. So when a camp full of limp-wristed fairies opt to muddy up her country with their Mary Poppins speak and eyes wider than her jumbo tub of fiber, she opts to use her iron wand to school the pansies in the American way.One roleplay sample:
Sue surveyed the camp and the shiny, wide-eyed faces with a discernible sneer of disgust. These slack-jawed undernourished aborted fetuses of the magic world saw fit to spray on to her turf like an unwanted bastard in the bottom of a dumpster. They couldn't be satisfied with nancying it up in merry old England and so they decided to come here and don these fruity unicorn shirts that sparkled in a way that was enough to make you choke back bile. But Sue Sylvester wasn't going to allow it.
She pointed her wand (made of an extremely expensive Agarwood gathered and crafted by Malaysian children and polished with their tears) towards herself, putting a sonorus charm in place despite the fact that the maladroit youth were mere feet from her. "PREPARE TO BE TERRIFIED." Sue barked, before pausing.
What was that rising up to cover the scent of horse manure? It smelled like the ripe scent of fear.
Delicious.
