Character Information
Name: Ellis Smith (does not have a canon last name, but uh for now I’ll just give him something generic)
Canon Origin/Series: Left 4 Dead 2
Gender: Male
Age: 23

Personality: Hailing from Savannah, Georgia, Ellis is the picture of a redneck hick, to the degree you might think he's trying to be one. He drinks Pabst beer every Saturday, he has an accent thicker than his skull, and he never, ever takes off his trademark trucker hat, complete with a little white tow truck on the dome. He’s a mechanic as a day job, working without magic on muggle cars and trucks in a shop he owns with a couple of his best buddies. But under all the grease grime on his nails and his appearance as a non-magical douche bag (his tribal tattoo makes this seem very apparent) Ellis is actually a decent wizard with a fascination of necromancy and a really nice guy. He has the remarkable skill to remain cheerful and excitable through just about anything, to pat you on the back when you need it, and to be just so annoying that he’s absolutely endearing. He loves talking, and if he likes you (which he likes pretty much everyone right off the bat) he’ll regale you with stories of his buddies who have a penchant for physically harming themselves. If he really likes you, he might invite you for Sunday dinner with his Ma. She’s a muggle though, and if you give her one bit of grief, he’ll curse you faster than you can say any counter spell. Maybe he's a bit of a man-boy, but he’s a good one.

Why should they be a camp counselor? Ellis loves helping people, and generally likes people in general. He tends to live a mostly muggle lifestyle, so when he sees the camp is taking in wizards from across the sea for the summer, he decides to take a break to stretch the magical side of him. His buddies can take care of the shop, and hell, he’ll get to leave some impressions on the kids, maybe something they can take back across the sea with them. He’ll give them some magical and non-magical survival skills at the very least! With buddies like his (his friend Keith has been burnt on over 95 percent of his body twice) he can’t help but to have picked up quite a few.
