M I N I S T R Y A P P L I C A T I O N S


R U L E S
1. Only players who already have characters in the game may apply for ministry spots.

2. One Ministry character per player.

3. Ministry characters can be corrupt or they can be for great justice.

4. We'll decide how many ministry members qualify, so if you see 4 apps, you can still submit your own.

5. Do NOT apply for these positions with a character who is not suited for the role. Also do not apply for these spots just to give another character a Ministry BFF. It's cool if they know them a bit, but please, no BFF's.

6. Mods may contact in terms of certain plots that need to be carried out.

7. Ministry characters are able to punish students for misbehaving. They can only takes points if they do anything evilish. For points taking, they have the same restrictions as TA's.

8. All other in game rules apply to these characters as well.

Sample Interaction Post in First Person: Hello everyone! I’m Li, Li Shenshung and it’s a pleasure to meet you all! I’m another ministry official here, but don’t worry—it’s just with all these weird things happening and all… the ministry is just concerned, so if you see me around think nothing of it. My specialty is magical accidents and catastrophes, so if any of you get into a jam of some sort, I’m sure I could help out.
Well I’ll be seeing you all around!
Moving in has gone smoothly. As per normal, I will be conducting my acts under the normal guise. Right now, my only mission is to find children who may be interested in joining the Death Eaters, and to evaluate, then direct my contact if they fit his standards.
The only concern that could arise is the fellow Ministry officials here. I received a whispering that one of them could be particularly adept in the area of background checking and information digging, though I am confident she will find nothing on me.
Sample Interaction Post in Third Person: Li watched attentive, as he slowly ate the delicious cake before him. It was chocolate cheesecake, and absolutely irresistible, but even something such as this was not to distract him from his task. He saw his target passing by; an elderly wizard dressed in maroon dress robes, just as described. He got up, leaving an adequate sum for the cake and set out towards the man. A quick flick of his wand, and the wizard lost his footing—just as Li was there to catch him.
“Woah you should be careful!” Li said, giving the wizard a warm smile. “Why thank you, I honestly don’t know where I’m going nowadays, the ministries a mess you see and…” the old man blathered on and on. Li kept pace with him, and kept the conversation going until he reached a spot away from the mainstreet.
“That’s great and all, but shouldn’t you be worrying about more pressing matters?” The wizard stopped midsentence, quite confused. “ Mr. Jeremiah Lusby, where is the package?.” The other’s face instantly paled. “H-How would you…” Li’s tone was different now, monotone and flat. “I asked a question.” At once Li’s wand came out, electricity crackling from it, his face expressionless.
Why should this character be accepted for a ministry position?: [For the LULZ need not apply] Seeing as Hogwart’s always finds itself in some kind of magical jam, it’s not a far stretch to imagine that an official from the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes would be placed at Hogwarts to see exactly what’s going on. The accidents are so frequent, that the ministry is beginning to suspect that it may be more than child’s play, and want a man down there to see if all is really innocent. So on the surface, Li is simply another snoopin’ ministry official.
On the flipside, he recently received a contract to investigate any and all peoples who were interested in becoming Death Eaters, to interview them and like. Although the Death Eaters do not know he has at Hogwarts, his recently elected position Is perfect for the contract.
I also think it would be interesting to have a rather neutral character—all of the other officials are pro-ministry, and while jizabel was on the Death Eater side, Li would be on the neutral (though perhaps leaning) side.

Oh, and I like my bacon bits with lettuce, tomato and mayo~ :3. Got any questions askkk.
