Well, no, not exactly. Since it's a paper journal they'd literally have to be pasting a picture in there. It might be possible, though, to like... print out a bunch of gifs and then enchant them to move like wizard pictures. And then carry them around with him in order to stick into peoples' journals. But that seems a little elaborate.
